No going back on the planned Naira redesign President Buhari President Muhammadu Buhari says the CBN has given Nigerians enough time to deposit the present naira notes at various banks in exchange for the newly redesigned ones. The President said this on Wednesday after a meeting with King Charles the third at Buckingham Palace, UK. President Buhari also said there is no going back on the planned redesign of the 200 Naira, 500 Naira, and 1,000 Naira bank notes. He said the policy will hinder politicians from mobilizing resources and thugs to intimidate voters in the coming elections.

The suspect who lives with her parents on the last floor of the two-storey building, started causing trouble lately, a development that forced her parents to invite policemen to help take her to the hospital. The Federal Government College in Rubochi, FCT, has produced a robot prototype known as the "Ruby Waiter-Bot" by some of its students. When presenting their invention to the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja on Tuesday, the students claimed that it would aid in resolving important national issues. The introduction of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) encouraged them to be creative, which resulted in the invention, according to SSS3 Miss Onyoche Bamaiyi. The robot, according to SSS3 student Ephraim Okpara, is made up of 70% recycled materials. The primary objective of today's project was to gather and utilise recyclable materials, which are readily available in the environment. I NSECURITY: IGP ACQUIRES, DEPLOYS 3 ASISGUARD SONGAR ARMED DRONES TO STRATEGIC LOCATIONS The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba psc(+), NPM, NEAPS, fdc, CFR, has acquired three (3) high-powered Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for improved armed surveillance operations to checkmate criminal activities in the country as a further manifestation of the IGP's determination to integrate the use of innovative technology in the law enforcement duties of the Nigeria Police Force. The newly acquired drones will surely assist the Police in monitoring active crime scenes, coordinating response operations, and providing armed aerial support to officers on reconnaissance operations. The 3 newly acquired UAVs are rotary wing aircrafts capable of flying up to an altitude of 1000ft with high operational endurance and capacity of firing at acquired threats and targets from reasonable distances.
