NDLEA, arrests ex-footballer, Okafor Emmanuel Junior at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport,  Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have arrested an ex-footballer, Okafor Emmanuel Junior at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, on his arrival from Sao Paulo, Brazil via Addis Ababa on board an Ethiopian airlines flight with 1.40kg crack cocaine concealed in his bags. Spokesperson of the agency, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Sunday, October 2, said the the 33-year-old indigene of Arochukwu Local Government, Abia State was arrested on Monday 26th September 2022 after anti-narcotic officers discovered he concealed the illicit substance in the handles of his bags and padded the top edges of same with the class A drug. Actress Rahama Sadau Distances Self From Tinubu's Women Campaign Team Nigerian actress, Rahama Sadau, has distanced herself from the Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential Campaign Team. The actress' name was listed in the Creative and Entertainment Category of the team alongside other Nollywood actors. In a disclaimer on her Twitter handle, Sadau stated that she has no idea how her name ended up on the list. The actress said that she is not associated with the campaign saying, “This is a big fat lie. I am not aware of this.   The three leading presidential candidates in the 25th February 2023 Nigerian presidential election, Messrs Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar and Bola Tinubu, on Saturday, took their campaign ‘fight’ to Nigerians in the United States. The Correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the support groups for Abubakar, Obi and Tinubu converged on New York at the Nigeria Independence Day Parade and Carnival to canvass votes for their candidates. Decomposed bodies of two women have been found in a shallow grave in the office of a medical doctor, Abass Adio Adebowale Adeyemi, in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara state.  It would be recalled that the suspect, who hails from Offa LGA of Kwara State, was arrested for k!lling a cab driver,  Emmanuel Yobo Agbovinuere. He allegedly killed the victim in Benin City, Edo state, dumped his corpse at Otofure community on the Benin-Lagos highway and absconded with the deceased's vehicle.  Spokesperson of the Kwara State Police Command, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, in a statement on Sunday, October 2, said the suspect also confessed to k!lling his girlfriend, one Ifeoluwa, who was declared missing in Tanke area of Ilorin in 2021.
