Mummy Zee: NNPC gifts N200,000 voucher to lady mocked for cooking for husband at 4:50am

Mummy Zee: NNPC gifts N200,000 voucher to lady mocked for cooking for husband at 4:50am The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) has donated a N200,000 voucher to a lady identified as 'Mummy Zee' after some netizens mocked her for waking up to cook for her husband at 4:50 a.m. The lady, in an earlier post on X, tweeted: "I've always been too lazy to wake up and get his lunch ready. But the day he told me a colleague brought two spoons so he'll eat with her, was the day I set my alarm for 4:50am." Her tweet generated mixed reactions from users, who questioned why she had to wake up that early to cook, while others hailed her for her exceptional wife duties. The lady has also gotten over N2 million in donations from individuals on social media. Seven (7) Things That Happen When You Are Too Nice.

1. You attract the wrong people. When you're too nice, you will start to attract people who are needy, overly emotional, or manipulative. They know that you're easy to take advantage of, so they will use your kindness against you. 2. People will view you as a pushover. If you're always saying yes and never speaking up for yourself, people will start to see you as someone who can be easily exploited. This can lead to people mistreating you or taking you for granted. 3. You will have unrealistically high expectations of others. When you're too nice, you may start to expect everyone to treat you the same way. But the reality is that not everyone is kind and considerate. If you have unrealistic expectations, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. 4. People will start coming to you only when they need something. It can be frustrating to feel like people are only using you for your kindness. But this is often the case when you're too nice. People may start to ...

Arewa Youth Forum Rejects Planned WAEC CBT Exams

The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum has called for the cancellation of the proposed computer-based test format in the forthcoming West African Senior School Certificate Examinations in the country. According to the forum, such a mode of examination, if allowed, will result in mass failure for students, particularly in rural areas of northern states where computer skills are scarce or completely absent. The National President of AYCF, Yerima Shettima, in a statement released in Kaduna on Friday, asserted that the CBT exams should have been optional, allowing candidates to choose between the traditional pen-and-paper format and the computer-based approach. This, he argued, would have allowed students to opt for the format they were most comfortable with and capable of attempting successfully. Shettima added that research conducted by the Forum in selected northern states such as Zamfara, Jigawa, Taraba, Adamawa, Nasarawa, and Plateau, revealed that the CBT exams had consistently led to mi...
