Just In: APC Presidential screening committee trims down the list of Aspirants to 13. The All Progressives Congress has trimmed down its list of presidential aspirants to thirteen ahead of its Monday special convention scheduled to hold between 6th and 8th June. Out of 23 presidential aspirants that appeared before the screening committee, 13 were cleared to contest the primaries slated for Monday.

E FCC Arrests 92 Internet Fraud Suspects in Port Harc ourt Operatives of the Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the EFCC have arrested 92 suspected internet fraudsters (aka Yahoo Boys) in a sting operation in the early hours of Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at various locations in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The Ninety Two (92) suspects were arrested for alleged internet fraud activities at locations including Choba and Ada George axis of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, following an intelligence report.   H ouse Wife, Ummi Garba Gang Rape, Slaughter By Unknown Men In Jigawa State Unknown persons have allegedly gang-raped and slaughtered a 26-year-old house wife, Ummi Garba in Hadejia Local Government Area of Jigawa State. A resident told DAILY POST that the incident happened on Wednesday night at Warwadi quarters in Hadejia town. He said the horrendous incident occurred when the unknown criminals took advantage of her husband’s absence, sneaked into the house, raped and butchered her. Police spokesman, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the incident.      R eal reasons most aspirants bought N100m presidential forms – Okorocha An All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential hopeful, Rochas Okorocha, has revealed why some aspirants bought the party’s forms. Okorocha disclosed that some aspirants bought the N100 million APC presidential forms to negotiate juicy ministerial positions. The Imo West Senator said most aspirants intend to negotiate appointments from whoever emerges as the party’s winner. Featuring on TVC’s Journalists Hangout yesterday, Okorocha stressed that most of APC’s aspirants bought the forms for popularity and recognition. “Do you know that some people buy these forms so that they can negotiate for a ministerial appointment,” he said. A housewife, Hapsat Saidu and her two children have killed her 60-year-old husband Saidu Mamman to inherit his property. Fa’iza Saidu and Faisal Saidu, daughter and son of the deceased respectively, allegedly contracted one Mathew Peter (aka Goga) who is currently at large to butcher their father who they accused of being stingy to them.
