A side chick identified as Mavis Munenge has taken legal action against her married boyfriend’s wife, Lynette Machon, for sending her death threats.  H-Metro reported that Mavis Munenge filed for a peace order, alleging that Lynette Machona visited her workplace on December 2. She claimed Lynette issued her with threats and expressed her readiness to face legal consequences for causing her harm. She said;    “On December 2, she came to my workplace and threatened me, saying she was prepared to go to jail after harming me. I told her that her husband, Kelvin, told me that they were divorced.”  The situation escalated on December 9 when Lynette, accompanied by a friend, allegedly insulted and threatened Mavis. She allegedly warned her and stated that she was going to consult a native doctor in Gokwe area of Zimbabwe, if their relationship continues. FIRST ABIA MODULAR REFINERY TO BEGIN PRODUCTION NEXT YEAR

Abia State Government has announced that its modular refinery being built at the Abia Industrial Innovation Park (AIIP), Owaza, in Ukwa West LGA will come on stream in 2025.  The State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Prince Okey Kanu disclosed this while briefing the press along  side some other  members of the Executive Council on the outcome of this week's Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Alex Otti. He said it is a project that is important to the Alex Otti led  government and every effort is being put to ensure that the date will be met, "The modular refinery project of Abia industrial Innovation Park will come on stream in 2025. It will be the first major industrial project of that industrial park. Of course, once that refinery comes on stream , it would provide job opportunities to the teeming youths in excess of about two thousand jobs. The Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria (SCSN) has said that the APC Muslim-Muslim ticket it supported during the 2023 presidential election has fallen short of expectations and has not brought any positive changes to the lives of Nigerians. The President of SCSN, Sheikh AbdurRasheed Hadiyyatullah, said this in an interview with journalists during a National Conference which held in Abuja. The Islamic cleric said despite the enormous support received by the President during the election, Nigerians have not enjoyed dividends of democracy since he came to power. “The Nigeria of today is too bad. What we are buying at N200 before is N2000 now. We have scarcity of Naira and unemployment is escalating. Nigerians are not enjoying the new government at all.
