In an effort to highlight the splendor of Lagos State, Guiness World Record Holder, Jan Roose is presently in Lagos, Nigeria, and attempted a walk across train tracks and bridges while suspended on a rope.  The athlete who comes from Estonia finished a 150-meter slackline walk across two locations on a single building in Doha, Qatar in 2023 becoming the first in the history of mankind to do so.  The athlete claims he just loves Lagos. Jan Roose is an athlete from Estonia who competes in slacklining and has set several world records. There are five things to know about Jan Roose: He is renowned for having steely nerves. He holds multiple world records and is a three-time world champion. He began slacklining at the age of 18.  He traveled to the city of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2021 to engage in 100-meter-high acrobatics. First Video of Mr. Ibu After Surgery Surfaces Online.

  A video showing ailing actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, has been released by his adopted daughter, Jasmine.  Jasmine shared the video on her Instagram page Thursday, 10 days after it was announced that the actor had undergone seven successful surgeries, including an amputation of one of his legs.  The actress captioned the new video, "As long as you are getting better, nothing else matters. I remain silent until you are back on your feet again! Cheers."  Mr Ibu's health struggles first made the news in October when a video of the actor soliciting for help was released on his official page.  His solicitation for help was met with sympathy by well meaning Nigerians. With some donating and other sending prayers and wishes.

First Miss Nigeria Celebrates 93rd Birthday.

  The winner of the first Miss Nigeria beauty pageant held in 1957, Grace Oyelude, has been celebrated on her 93rd birthday. This was disclosed in a post on Instagram by the Miss Nigeria Organisation on Thursday, November 16. The caption read, "We are immensely delighted to celebrate the evergreen beauty and brave leader, Chief Grace Atinuke Oyelude, on her 93rd birthday.  "Her courage, resolve, and great strength of character are excellent qualities that have endeared her to us and many others. "Happy birthday, once again, to the first Miss Nigeria, Chief Grace Atinuke Oyelude. "Thank you for paving the way and setting the standards that all Miss Nigeria Queens walkthrough, as well as your priceless contributions towards women's empowerment".

Engineers Alexei Ananenko, Valeri Bespalov, and Boris Baranov – known as the Chernobyl risked their lives to prevent an apocalyptic catastrophe just days after the historic explosion at the nuclear power plant in 1986. Almost as soon as firefighters started pumping water into the reactor, it began flooding a basement room directly below. The basement contained the valves that controlled the coolant liquid that normally kept the reactor stable. But as the reactor rose to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit, it began to melt the protective concrete floor below. Experts feared that if the molten nuclear material came into contact with the water, it would unleash a gigantic steam explosion that would destroy the entire power plant, level Kyiv 60 miles away, and release so much radiation into the air that most of Eastern Europe would be uninhabitable for at least 100 years.
