Gombe State University Student Gives Birth, Throws Baby Out, through the Window  Gombe State University (GSU) has been thrown into pandemonium on Saturday as a female student who gave birth allegedly throws down the newly born baby from the storey building of their hostel. A security man in the school who spoke to Daylight Reporters on condition of anonymity said, revealed that, the incident occurred on Saturday morning. According to him, the baby died instantly after being thrown down by the culprit. It was alleged that the baby was born out of wedlock hence the mother decided to kill him by throwing it down from the window. The security man however said the lifeless body of the baby was evacuated while the school authorities have commenced investigation to fish out the culprit.

Reno Omokri, a former media aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has vowed that he will never be alive and watch Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, become the President of Nigeria. Omokri made this known on his X page on Wednesday. He noted that even if it takes him spending everything he has, he will do it to make sure that Obi does not win a presidential election in Nigeria. Omokri wrote, “Peter Obi, I am waiting for you in 2027 and 2031. God sparing my life.  “Because of what your mannerless fascist horde did to my then one-year-old daughter and the rest of my family, I have vowed that you will never smell the Presidency. Never.  Nobody has suffered from your ill-mannered followers like my family and I. Governor Zulum opens Maiduguri  underpass tunnel bridge  Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, on Friday, commissioned an underpass bridge built like a tunnel for pedestrian road-crossing while vehicles drive on top of the bridge.  The project was constructed around the famous Gamboru market in Maiduguri.  At the commissioning, Governor Zulum said construction of the underpass was due to risks involved with pedestrian crossing of the highway.
