A South Sudanese mother of two, identified as Akuch Manyuon Kuol from Bor, has reportedly taken her own life in Nairobi on Friday morning after learning that her husband was on a flight back to Kenya. According to multiple sources close to the deceased, Akuch had allegedly endured prolonged mistreatment from both her husband and some members of her family, who are also from Bor. The family has since released a brief statement confirming her death and stated that a detailed report on the cause will be issued once investigations are concluded.
