Two female Students crushed to death.

Miss Covenant Omolola Isaac of Federal University Lokoja and Abu Taiwo Abimbola of Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja were crushed to death today  A heavy loaded vehicle lost control and hit the Tricycle carrying them. Covenant Omolola Isaac is from the Department of Geology Federal University Lokoja while Abu Taiwo Abimbola is from the department of Science Laboratory and Technology Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja. We are praying that God will grant them eternal rest and their families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss

ABIA STATE GOVERNOR, DR. ALEX OTTI DEMANDS ₦50 BILLION COMPENSATION OVER ALLEGED DEFAMATORY FACEBOOK POST The Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has issued a stern legal demand to Hon. Tobias Chukwudi Egeonu, popularly known as Hon. Toby Chuks, for allegedly publishing a defamatory post on Facebook. The demand includes a retraction, a public apology, and ₦50 billion in damages. The contentious post, titled "What Alex Otti Cannot Destroy Does Not Exist: Vol. 1," was published on December 8, 2024, on Egeonu’s Facebook page.  In the post, Egeonu, who identifies as a public affairs analyst and political commentator, accused Governor Otti of financial mismanagement during his tenure as Group Managing Director of the defunct Diamond Bank and of corruption in his current position as governor of Abia State. 22-Year-Old Burglar Arrested Inside Delta Church

A 22-year-old boy identified as Chinedu Onuora was in the early hours of Wednesday arrested for breaking into the Anglican Church along Okpanam road in Asaba the Delta state capital. The suspect was arrested according to the night guard of the church identified as Emmanuel, few minutes past 6am after he was seen trying to disconnect the church keyboard.
