A young woman has reportedly d!ed during a s3x r0mp with her boyfriend in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital. It was gathered that the incident happened at a guest house situated at Temidire community, Offa Garage area of Ilorin on Monday, October 30, 2023. Members of the community claimed that the man, who owns a barber’s shop, was under the influence of drugs with the aim of impressing his girlfriend before things took a turn for the worse, the Nigerian Tribune reported.  “The girl got tired during the m@ting and later gave up the ghost,” a source told the publication The source said that the man raised the alarm when the lady reportedly became unconscious and thus attracted workers of the guest house.  The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was confirmed d£ad. Appeal Court Upholds Tribunal Ruling, Declares Natasha As The Authentic Winner of Kogi Central Senator Elect The appeal court in Abuja has upheld the judgment of the Kogi state election petition tribunal sacking Senator  as a senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial district of the state. OBSERVERSTIMES reports before now that The election petition tribunal sitting in Lokoja has declared Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as the winner of the February 25 Kogi Central Senatorial election. Delivering the ruling today on Tuesday the court of appeal  upheld the decision of the tribunal, declaring Natasha Akpoti as the legitimate representative of Kogi Central.  It held that the appeal of Sadiku-Ohere,challenging the judgment of the tribunal lacked merit.

Abia Governor Alex Otti has revealed that ransoms paid for kidnapped victims were always dropped off around the Umuchieze Cattle Market in Lokpanta of Umunneochi Local Government Area.  In less than 48 hours, over 80 dead bodies and 20 headless decomposing bodies were recovered. The governor expressed the state government's resolve to rid Abia of all forms of crime and stated that the government would neither condone nor support insecurity in any form.  Investigations are ongoing to ascertain the people involved in the crime and informed the decision to change the cattle market into a general market.  The state government has taken steps to secure the market by fencing it and issuing a directive to be a non-residential daily market.
