Burna Boy is cheap, fake, unoriginal - Brymo

Burna Boy is cheap, fake, unoriginal -  Brymo  Nigerian singer, Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, popularly known as Brymo, has described Grammy-winning musician, Burna Boy as “sleazy, cheap, very unoriginal and very fake”. In a recent interview with TVC, Brymo chastised Burna Boy for trying to invent a new Afrobeat style based on the labors of the king of Afrobeat, Fela Kuti. He also stressed his lack of originality and the fact that he steals tunes by Fela. He said, “I saw a video where he said he was the Jesus of Afrobeat and he put Davido and Wizkid on some other mountain like that. "I think he is sleazy, he is cheap, he is a thief, very unoriginal, very fake. Every song is a sample or a stolen slogan. Who does that?. "Afrobeat is a music style, not a genre. Fela started the genre and it is disrespectful that a new generation of musicians came and just added ‘S’ to create another center of number one.’’

“You Couldn’t Create Jobs In Imo State For 4 Years” — Entrepreneur, Uchechukwu Elechi Tackles Hope Uzodimma After He Promised To Send 4000 Imo Youths To Europe To Work He wrote: “You couldn’t create jobs in Imo State for four years—this is the State you're governing and seeking reelection. Another election period has come, you're now making promises of visa and employment In faraway Europe. Hope Uzodimma, you must really think Imo youths are gullible to have brazenly made such a ridiculous promise in public. More painful is the fact that there were even people cheering you on.  The funds that you intend to allocate for securing visas and covering the travel expenses of your imaginary 4000 youths could potentially be redirected towards meaningful job creation initiatives within Imo State. I advise you consider more viable and substantiated proposals in the future to garner trust and support from the electorate, not this type of 'lamba'.”
