The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has said that the proposed Lagos 4th Mainland Bridge Supersonic Highway will make travelling from Lagos to Abuja a four-hour journey. According to a statement released by the Director of Press and Public Relations unit of the Ministry of Works, Blessing Lere-Adams, Umahi stated this during a visit to Ogun and Oyo states on Thursday, August 31, in continuation of his highway inspection tour.  During a meeting with the Ogun State Governor, Dapo  Abiodun in his Office in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, Umahi was quoted to have said; “Let me announce to you that Lagos proposed 4th Mainland Bridge Supersonic Highway will take four hours to drive from Lagos to Abuja. NBA Treasurer Rejects Financial Statement, Says She Was Sidelined During Preparation The treasurer of the Nigerian Bar Association, Caroline Anze-Bishop, has accused NBA President, Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, of sidelining her in the affairs of the association.  Anze-Bishop made this known Thursday, at the Annual General Meeting of the NBA, held in Abuja.  While speaking during the meeting, Bishop, rejected the financial statement presented by Maiyaku, saying she has too much respect for the Bar to append her signature on unknown documents.
