 Bronny James, the eldest son of NBA legend LeBron James, is recovering in a Los Angeles hospital after suffering from cardiac arrest during a workout on Monday.  Yesterday while practicing, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff were able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. Bronny graduated from Sierra Canyon High School in May, and had announced he would be going to USC to play basketball earlier that month. Speaking with Spectrum SportsNet at the time, LeBron called the occasion "one of the best days of my life."

  The inspiration for Barbie came from a German doll called Bild Lilli who was a popular comic strip character created by Reinhard Beuthien, appearing in the German tabloid newspaper "Bild" from 1952 to 1961. Lilli was a high-end call girl who used her charm and wit to seduce wealthy men. She was also known to rally against male authority. In one particular comic, a policeman warns Lilli about public indecency for wearing her bikini on the sidewalk to which she replies, “Oh, and in your opinion, what part should I take off?”  Ruth Handler, the co-founder of Mattel, discovered Bild Lilli during a trip to Europe in 1956. She purchased a few Lilli dolls as souvenirs and noticed that her daughter Barbara enjoyed playing with them.   The Argentine captain's first game as an Inter Miami player saw him score a 94th-minute free kick to break a 1-to-1 tie with the Mexico City-based Cruz Azul that propelled his team to a 2-to-1 victory. The game-winning moment was one that was witnessed by football fans and many Hollywood celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Lebron James, and Serena Williams. David Beckham, who is an Inter Miami co-owner, was also present with his wife, Victoria Beckham. The match was Inter Miami's first in the Leagues Cup, a monthlong competition between Major League Soccer and Liga MX sides.   No one is complaining about this tradition, but haven’t you always wondered why we do it?  The ancient Egyptians are actually credited with “inventing” the celebration of birthdays. They believed that when pharaohs were crowned gods, it represented their “birth” as a god and that the day needed to be celebrated.  The ancient Greeks borrowed the tradition and decided it would be even better with the addition of a sweet treat. They made moon-shaped pies to honor Artemis, goddess of the moon, and added lit candles to make the cakes shine like the moon. That’s where we get birthday candles from. Since the ingredients to make a cake were pretty expensive, the tradition didn’t become popular until around the Industrial Revolution, when the ingredients started to become more plentiful.

As this year's most anticipated film, Barbie and Oppenheimer, releases this weekend; the Greta Gerwig-directed film came out on top, scoring $155 million in its opening run and marking the biggest debut ever for a film directed by a woman. Captain Marvel, which was co-directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, previously held the title with $153 million in 2019. Barbie also earned the biggest opening weekend of 2023, beating The Super Mario Bros. Movie's $146 million that was scored earlier this year, Variety said. Oppenheimer, the latest movie from director Christopher Nolan, was released at the same time as Barbie and made an impressive $80.5 million in its first three days in theaters. Both Barbie and Oppenheimer boast large ensemble casts full of Hollywood A-listers.
