Popular actor Sylvester Madu has been captured allegedly selling ‘okrika’. ‘Okirika’ in Nigeria serves as a broad term for second hand or used clothing. The name is derived a tiny harbour city in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. Yea  The talented actor, who’s been absent from movie scenes for a while, was observed in the viral video selling his second hand clothes scattered on the floor.  The said clip also showed when he arrived the market in his car and brought out a ‘ghana-must-go’ bag which contained the clothes. In most action films the actor has starred in, he’s well-known for portraying the role of a tough guy or an armed robber. The viral clip has since elicited different reactions from the online community with most expressing concern over the financial state of the movie star.

Guinness World Records: Chef Dammy Set To Embark  On 150 Hours Cook-a-thon Nigerian chef, Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, has disclosed plans to go on another 150-hour marathon cooking marathon to replace Hilda Baci as the world record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual. Chef Dammy, who recently concluded a 120-hour marathon cooking on Wednesday morning, made this known in a statement shared on her Twitter handle on Saturday. She stated that the completed 120-hour marathon cook was not registered with Guinness World Records and that she intends to embark on another 150-hour cook-a-thon that will be registered with Guinness World Records. Nollywood actor, Don Brymo, passes on According to reports, the actor has been ill for a while and sadly passed away today June 15. His colleague, Junior Pope, took to social media to mourn him.  May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

Gov Umo Eno Rededicates A'Ibom to God Attributes Successful Election, Inauguration to God's Grace, Mercy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno has attributed his successful election and subsequent inauguration to the grace and mercy of God. Speaking at the special thanksgiving service to mark the inauguration of Pastor Umo Eno and Senator Akon Eyakenyi administration, he alluded to Psalm 124 saying,  If it had not been the Lord who was on his side, when men rose up against him, his vision and aspiration would have been frustrated.
