Just In: APC Presidential screening committee trims down the list of Aspirants to 13. The All Progressives Congress has trimmed down its list of presidential aspirants to thirteen ahead of its Monday special convention scheduled to hold between 6th and 8th June. Out of 23 presidential aspirants that appeared before the screening committee, 13 were cleared to contest the primaries slated for Monday.

  I ’m not an emperor – Gov Abiodun fires back at Tinubu Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State on Friday said he is not an emperor, in what could be seen as a reaction to the jab by Bola Tinubu, an All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant. Abiodun stressed that he is holding his position in trust for the people of Ogun State. Referring to a comment by Tinubu about him, the governor said he had vowed to be fair, just, and equitable. E FCC Arrests 92 Internet Fraud Suspects in Port Harc ourt Operatives of the Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the EFCC have arrested 92 suspected internet fraudsters (aka Yahoo Boys) in a sting operation in the early hours of Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at various locations in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The Ninety Two (92) suspects were arrested for alleged internet fraud activities at locations including Choba and Ada George axis of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, following an intelligence report. Analyses of the devices recovered from the suspects established that 64 of the suspects have incriminating items in their phones and emails.   H ouse Wife, Ummi Garba Gang Rape, Slaughter By Unknown Men In Jigawa State Unknown persons have allegedly gang-raped and slaughtered a 26-year-old house wife, Ummi Garba in Hadejia Local Government Area of Jigawa State. A resident told DAILY POST that the incident happened on Wednesday night at Warwadi quarters in Hadejia town. He said the horrendous incident occurred when the unknown criminals took advantage of her husband’s absence, sneaked into the house, raped and butchered her. Police spokesman, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the incident.
