BEAKING: Bandits Shot dead Three Niger PDP Delegates

  At least three out of the 13 delegates from Mariga Local government Areas of Niger State for the governorship primaries have been allegedly killed by bandits. It was learnt that the incident occurred between Mariga and Tegina and the three persons were shot dead on the spot in an ambush by the Bandits on Wednesday. They were killed on their way back to Mariga after the party postponed the primaries to obtain their means of identification, following a protest by some of the aspirants who were not comfortable with the delegates list. Subsequently, delegates were asked to return home and bring their means of identification and the primaries shifted to Thursday. The Chairman of the State electoral panel and Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State Mr. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo who made the disclosure at the state party secretariat described the incident as sad. EFCC Arrests Nine Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Benin City Operatives of the EFCC Benin Zonal Command, on Tuesday May 24, 2022 arrested nine suspected internet fraudsters in Benin City. The suspects: Makata Lucky, Samson Shakore, Ase Daniel, Osamwonu Terry, Moses Nosa, Makata John, Mataka James, Eze Solomon and Emmanuel Noghase were arrested at their hideout following actionable intelligence. Items recovered from them at the point of arrest inlude mobile phones and two cars (Lexus 330EX and Accura MDX).

He deceived her that he was taking her to his house in Kano but she shouldn't tell anyone as he wanted to surprise them there in Kano. Lo and behold, the girl agreed. He ordered that, she should go and bring out her bag, fortunately, her brother saw her and asked where she was going to and she told him that their uncle is taking her to Kano. However, after sometimes of not seeing the girl, a search has begun and in the course of looking for her, her brother said, he saw her and this was what she told him. Hence, the Uncle was arrested and interrogated but denied the allegations. So, he was released on bail. Therefore, when he was under bail he called his friend from Jos to come and complete the job for him to collect some millions from her parents. But the guy was so furious after knowing that the girl was his niece. So the uncle gave him the number he'd call to demand a ransom....

Fubara, who hails from the riverine Opobo-Nkoro Local Government Area, scored 721 votes to defeat 15 other aspirants with Isaac Kamalu coming a distant second with 86 votes. The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Prof. Walter Mbotu, declared Fubara the winner of the primary election. Recall that the EFCC recently declared him and 58 others for N435 billion fræud.
