PELLER AND JARVIS TRADITIONAL WEDDING HOLDS TODAY, JULY 31, 2026 — AHEAD OF WHITE WEDDING HOLDING ON AUG 1

Nigeria’s favorite TikTok couple, Habeeb “Peller" Hamzat and Amadou “Jarvis” Elizabeth Aminata are officially tying the knot today.

After months of proposals, breakups, makeups, and viral livestreams, the internet’s “Jarpel” couple is holding their traditional wedding ceremony today, Friday July 31, 2026, with the white wedding scheduled for tomorrow, August 1, 2026.

Peller and Jarvis became one of Nigeria’s biggest digital creator couples through comedy skits, livestreams, and relationship content that pulled millions of views.

Their relationship has been anything but boring with events surrounding them: - 2024: Peller first proposed, which Jarvis later described as a “promise ring situation”

Breakup livestream: A widely reported emotional incident where Peller reacted to the breakup went viral.

June 3, 2026: Peller proposed again in Accra, Ghana at a beachfront hotel. The video went viral

June 2026: Peller traveled to Jarvis’ hometown in Benin City, Edo State to pay her bride price during a family introduction ceremony

After paying the bride price, Peller posted: “Today, I proudly paid the bride price of the woman I love. A beautiful journey has officially begun... Officially off the market”.

Sources close to the couple confirmed that the traditional wedding is holding today, July 31, 2026 in Lagos. This comes just one day before their announced white wedding date of August 1, 2026.

The couple revealed about 400 people will wear aso ebi. The 8-yard fabric costs ₦700,000, while a 4-yard option is also available

The couple has been personally delivering invitations. They visited Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux to present aso ebi. Peller was seen playfully prostrating to beg Juma Jux to attend. Juma Jux paid for his aso ebi in US dollars

Cubana Chief Priest also visited by the couple, promised to contribute ₦10 million towards the wedding

The Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhe joined a video call with Peller, congratulated the couple, and asked them to “send his own Asoebi even if he is not around and also asked them to attach the account detail

The couple Peller and Jarvis admitted during the Priscilla/Juma visit that planning has been “stressful”.

THE BIG DAY TOMORROW: AUGUST 1 WHITE WEDDING

The couple officially announced their wedding date with a cinematic video ending with the inscription “Jarvis & Peller 01-08-2026”.

Peller wrote on Instagram: “The wait is almost over. Save the date as we begin forever together. We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with you”.

Details about the venue are still under wraps, but given the aso ebi price and guest list, it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest creator weddings of the year.

The announcement has generated mixed reactions online.

Fans have flooded their pages with congratulatory messages, praising the creativity of their save-the-date video. Osimhen’s pledge and Cubana’s ₦10m donation also drew praise.

Many didn’t expect the couple to move this fast after all the public ups and downs. Their relationship has been documented live, including a previous vow by Peller that he would “never marry a Nigerian”.

Some commenters questioned the cost of the aso ebi and the scale of the wedding, with one viral comment asking: “So 400 people go wear this aso ebi…How much?”

Today is the traditional wedding. Tomorrow is the white wedding. And the internet is watching every second.

Congratulations to #Jarpel2026
