Putin Set To Test World's Biggest Ballistic Missile, Satan 2 over the South Pole

Putin is reportedly set to test the RS-28 Sarmat, nicknamed 'Satan 2,' the world's largest ballistic missile, according to Russian state media. Despite incomplete testing, the missile, with a speed of 15,880mph and weighing 208 tons, is slated for 'combat duty.'

Although the report was censored, cached versions revealed plans for testing the missile over the South Pole. Designed for nuclear strikes against NATO countries, the RS-28 Sarmat has experienced testing delays, with only one confirmed successful test in April 2022. The proposed deployment of the missile on 'combat duty' in December has raised concerns in the West.
