The World's oldest natural pesticide: Pyrethrum.

Did you know that there are natural pesticides that are less harmful than others; posing zero risks when in contact with humans, plants and birds?

Pyrethrums are one of the world's oldest natural pesticides, providing repulsion to insects like the mosquito, flies, ants, fleas, moths.
They contain active ingredients that serve as poison for cold-blooded vertebrates and insects. Surprisingly, their active ingredients have recorded zero problems in humans making them suitable for household and livestock sprays.

Their downsides are however their toxicity to aquatic life including aquatic invertebrates. In their wet forms, ingestion into the bodies of sea animals would result to death.

Tanzania, in East Africa, is the largest producer of pyrethrum.
