You may ask "what is extraordinary in this?". There is one element that makes Suresh Kumar distinct; he is totally blind.
Suresh lost his eyesight when he was affected with brain fever at the age of 6. He studied up to 5th std. in government-run school for the blind but discontinued his studies after that.
By the efforts of his sister Revathi, Suresh received skill-training to fix electric products from a local repair shop. Suresh credits electrician Krishnamoorthy for training him.
Initially people had hesitated to seek Suresh's services but upon seeing his talent, they have continued preferring his service center.
Suresh says that he wishes to train blind people in fixing so that they too can live independently (never have to think about begging) and work with dignity.
