Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, on Saturday congratulated the Liberian president-elect, Joseph Boakai, who won at the just-concluded general election in the country. Sani disclosed this in a tweet posted on his X handle on Saturday, November 18, describing the outcome of the election as credible, transparent and peaceful. Boakai previously served as the 29th vice president of Liberia from 2006 to 2018, under President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
