This was made known in a TikTok video captioned, "The record is broken congrats to Nigeria, Oyo State, Chef Tope Maggie". This video was greeted with an applause from fans of the said chef.
With people believing it is a headscratcher, we are yet to receive a response from the official page of the Guinness World Records.
Assuminfmg this record is real, Tope’s accomplishment would be noteworthy for Nigeria, since it reclaims the title of longest continuous cooking from Alan Fisher, who had just dethroned chef Hilda Bassey following her 93-hour record.
Tope Maggie is a graduate of Hotel Management from the Federal Polytechnic in Ede, Osun State. Funnily, he got the nick name 'Maggie' from his mom for his outstanding cooking skills.
Tope currently manages a chain of restaurants in Ogbomoso.
