Evangelist Ezekiel Dachomo, a Plateau-based cleric, has raised serious concerns about his safety following a viral video in which he strongly condemned the ongoing killings of Christians in Nigeria.
According to Dachomo, he has received threats from suspected Fulani militia since the video circulated widely online. He revealed that he has already informed his family and church members not to pay any ransom if he is ever kidnapped.
“I have already told my family and members. If they kidnap me, nobody should contribute a dime. My life is in grave danger over the viral video on the killing of Christians,” he warned.
The cleric called on security agencies and the Nigerian government to take urgent action to protect innocent citizens from targeted attacks and intimidation.
His statement has sparked conversations across social media, as many Nigerians express concern over the rising insecurity and the safety of outspoken voices defending minority communities.
