After a draw against the Republic of Ireland, Nigeria's Super Falcons advance into the round of 16 of the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Though being the lowest ranked team in their group, Group B, they have managed to stay unbeaten.
The Super Falcons have participated in six (6) editions of the FIFA Women’s World Cup; their best outing being a quarter-final appearance in the 1999 World Cup. They have remained resilient after facing their previous opponents. So the big unanswered question remains, will they manage to be champions in this year's edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup?
