Release freak-off tapes to the public - Diddy tells court  Sean “Diddy” Combs has formally requested that Judge Arun Subramanian permit the public release of a series of videos, colloquially referred to as “freak offs.” Combs’ legal team asserts that these videos will unequivocally establish their client’s innocence. According to Daily Mail, Combs’ lawyers have submitted a letter to Judge Subramanian, requesting that prosecutors produce the nine videos in question. These videos have been described by prosecutors as “elaborate and produced sex performances” orchestrated by Combs. However, Combs’ lawyers contend that the videos demonstrate “private sexual activity” between Combs and his former partner, Cassie Ventura. Prosecutors had initially declined to release the videos, citing Ventura’s attorney’s request to protect her privacy. A Magistrate Court in Wuse, Abuja, has remanded two siblings; Mr. Enenche Enenche and Alexander Enenche alongside Pastor Abraham Daniel at the Keffi Prison in Nasarawa State.  Alexander and Enenche Enenche are both brothers of Pastor Paul Enenche, the senior pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Church while Abraham Daniel is a former pastor at the Dunamis church.  The duo were reportedly taken to the Keffi Custodial Centre of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) on Monday evening following a remand order the Nigerian Police Force secured from the Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja.  Upon honouring the police invitation, Mr. Enenche Enenche and Alexander Enenche (brothers of Pastor Paul Enenche) as well as Abraham Daniel (a former Pastor at Dunamis Church) were kept in the police custody till Monday evening, SaharaReporters learnt.  On January 8 that the Intelligence Department of the Nigerian police released the duo on bail. CBN: 1000 Exit Staff Were Voluntarily - Cardoso  Olayemi Cardoso, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), said the 1,000 staff who left the bank were not forced to leave. Cardoso spoke on Friday at the resumed house of representatives investigative hearing on the disengagement of the 1,000 workers by CBN. On December 4, 2024, the apex bank said its early exit package (EEP) was entirely voluntary and without any negative repercussions for eligible staff. CBN’s statement followed reports that 1,000 staff were sacked from the apex bank. Reacting to the development, the house of representatives asked the CBN to suspend the “planned” retirement of 1,000 staff. The lower chamber had also set up an ad hoc committee to investigate the “process and legality” of the exercise. Governor Hyacinth Alia, sends his heartfelt condolences to his colleague and Jigawa State Governor, HE Umar Namadi, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and his son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.  Governor Namadi had lost his mother in the early hours of Wednesday, December 25th, 2024, and barely 24 hours later, his son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi, was involved in a fatal car accident, which claimed his life.  Governor Alia who received the news of the double tragedy, describes it as a painful moment for not just the immediate family of Governor Namadi, but the entire people of Jigawa State and Nigeria as a whole. He urges his colleague to take solace in the fact that it is God who giveth and God who taketh away.  While he prays to God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the painful demise of Hajiya Maryam and Abdulwahab Umar, the Governor equally prays to God to grant the deceased eternal rest.
