When Queen Elizabeth II died, Operation London Bridge was activated to facilitate the smooth transition of power to her son, then-Prince Charles. Now, with Prince Charles’ cancer getting worse, royal insiders tell In Touch that Charles’ final resting plans are of timely prioritization.   The plans have been dubbed “Operation Menai Bridge”, named after the world’s first iron suspension bridge in Anglesey, Wales. “It’s a fairly common thing to do among the British royalty, but in Charles’ case expediency is necessary,” says the source, who notes that “some courtiers believe Charles’ cancer is worse than they’re making it out to be.”

Senegal's President-elect Bassirou Diomaye Faye was the Secretary General of opposition party, Pastef. The leader of his party, Ousmane Sonko was jailed. He joined the Presidential race and was endorsed by Sonko. An All Progressives Congress (APC ) aspirant for the Ondo governorship election Paul Akintelure is d£ad.  The spokesperson of the APC in Ondo State Alex Kalejaye confirmed the incident in a telephone conversation with Channels Television early Tuesday. While the cause of his death is still unknown, Akintelure’s demise came days after the medical doctor turned politician raised an alarm about thr£ats to his life. “Initially, I hope these incidents would dissipate over time, yet regrettably, they have escalated to pose a serious threat to my life,” his spokesman Oladapo Akintelure said in a March 21 statement. Pension Law: Otti pursuing personal vendetta against ex Abia Govs – PDP.

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Abia state chapter, has accused Governor Alex Otti, of using the pension law to pursue vendetta against former Governors and former Deputy Governors of the state. Otti had last week revoked the state law which grants pension to former governors and former deputy governor. The party stated that it cannot understand why Governor Otti who has not paid pension to any of his predecessors would quickly rush to repeal the law if not to massage his ego and portray himself as a saint and buy cheap popularity. The party in a statement by its Acting state publicity secretary, Elder Amah Abraham, added that there is no evidence that the money saved from the non-payment of pension to former governors and former deputy governors, has been used to offset the pension arrears of pensioners and civil servants who are still being owed by the government.
