The Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy- Ohanenye, has offered a reward of N2 million for information leading to the capture of a suspected child abuser in Anambra State named Adachukwu Okafor. The woman who is said to be a practicing lawyer was reported to have used a hot knife on the body and private parts of a 10-year old girl who was living with her  family as a house help. She said: “Please Nigerians, go out there and search for this woman and hand her over to the police. The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs is offering the sum of N2 million to anybody that will lay hands on this woman and hand her over to us through the police. “We need this woman urgently because this girl is in pain and has been in the hospital. It could be your child or anybody’s relation. Let’s not fold our hands. Muslims Don't Insult Their Clerics, Rapper Odumodublvck Tells Christians Criticising Pastor Adeboye Nigerian rapper, Tochukwu Ojogwu, well known as Odumodublvck, has condemned the criticisms directed at the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.  This was disclosed in a tweet he posted on his X handle on Monday.  Odumodublvck noted that Muslims don’t insult their clerics the way Christians do.  He wrote, "Pastor Adeboye never insulted no one on this app.  “You do not see Muslims come out to insult their clerics. Then later we complain that our religion is being stepped on.  "Even based on age wise, una no fit follow una papa talk the way una dey follow Adeboye talk. And he senior una papa and mama.  “That’s why I never rated you on this app. Una double standards choke.”

BREAKING: Wigwe, wife, son, Abimbola Ogunbanjo in chopper crash  Herbert Wigwe, the group chief executive officer of Access Holdings Plc, was involved in a helicopter crash in the United States, on Friday, TheCable understands. Wigwe, his wife and son were in the helicopter when it crashed in California near the Nevada border, as well as Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group). Six passengers were onboard, however, no survivors found so far.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be present at the Stade Alassane Ouattara in Abidjan to support the Super Eagles against Ivory Coast in the final of the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) on Sunday, February 11. The President of the Confederation of African Football, Dr. Patrice Motsepe, disclosed this on Friday, February 9, while speaking at a press conference after meeting with CAF Member Associations’ Presidents ahead of the AFCON final. Motsepe replying a journalist who asked him when Africa could host the FIFA World Cup again after South Africa did for the first time in 2010,  said President Tinubu will be in Abidjan on Sunday. “Nigeria must put in a bid. The Nigerian president (Bola Tinubu) is coming to watch the final on Sunday. I will have a conversation with him about it.” he said. Recall that on Wednesday, February 7, Vice President Kashim Shettima saw the Super Eagles beat South Africa 4-2 on penalties in the semi-final of AFCON 2023.
