Toxicology on Mohbad’s bod¥ is ongoing in the U.S. — Lagos State tells Coroner The Lagos State government yesterday, Wednesday, November 22, 2023,  told the coroner investigating the circumstances surrounding the d£ath of Afrobeat singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, that the toxicology test on his bod¥ was being conducted in the United States of America. This was disclosed to Magistrate Adetayo Shotobi by a Lagos State counsel, O. Akinde, after lawyers to other parties in the inquest demanded to know why the autopsy report was not ready. In response, Akinde said the most crucial aspect of the autopsy to determine the cause of death of the late music star was being carried out by experts in the US.  Tragedy struck in Niger State as no fewer than 17 people were reportedly killed in an auto crash at Takalafia village along the Yawuri Motorway in Magama Local Government Area of the state. It was gathered that the road traffic crash involved an open-body DAF trailer vehicle, whose driver allegedly engaged in overspeeding, which resulted in a loss of control that caused the lone accident. It was further gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred around 3:00 am on Tuesday The Public Education Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr Bisi Kazeem, confirmed the accident in a statement issued in Abuja, a copy of which was sighted on Wednesday in Minna, the Niger State capital.
