Federal Capital Territory Administration says owners of 149 impounded vehicles, 100 tricycles and motorcycles in the FCT will appear before a mobile court for various traffic offences. The Director, of FCTA Directorate of Road Traffic Services, also known as Vehicles Inspection Officers, Dr Abdulateef Bello, stated this in Abuja, after inspecting the impounded vehicles. Bello, who visited some of the VIO Commands where the impounded vehicles, tricycles and motorcycles were kept, said that the owners would pay dearly for their sins. He explained that the offences included parking in unauthorised areas, driving against traffic, and operating unregistered and unpainted taxis as well as illegal motor parks.

Isaac took over from his predecessor, Pastor David Nwabueze who has been transferred to LFC Nasarawa state.

KOGI: Governor Bello demands the sum of five billion naira as damages from Akpoti-Uduaghan. In the suit filed at the Kogi State High Court last week, Governor Bello prayed the court to compel Akpoti-Uduaghan to tender an unreserved apology to him on four national television stations. The Kogi State governor told the court to restrain Akpoti-Uduaghan from making further statements about him. Governor Bello is also demanding the sum of five billion naira as damages from Akpoti-Uduaghan.
