Lady who jumped into Lagos Lagoon a DSS staff The lady who jumped into the Lagos Lagoon on Thursday afternoon has been identified as Adetutu Adedokun, a staff of the Department of State Services (DSS). According to the Uber driver, Adedokun had an argument with her boyfriend and in the heat of the altercation, she ordered him to stop and disembarked from the cab. She had alighted from a Uber taxi, headed towards the railings of the bridge and plunged into the lagoon. About four months ago, she was said to have received commendations from the DG, DSS, as the best unarmed combat operative in her set. The victim’s fiancé was also reported to have proposed to her a few weeks ago.   Hushpuppi will become pastor after jail term - Maduagwu Actor Uche Maduagwu has predicted about the popular convicted Nigerian fraudster, Ramon Abass Olorunwa aka Hushpuppi will become a gospel minister after his jail term. Hushpuppi was sentenced to 11 years and 3 months in federal prison, US by Justice Otis Wright II, for conspiring to launder tens of millions of dollars from online scams. He'll however be spending nine years in prison because he had spent two years already. The instagram celebrity was also ordered to pay over $1.7m in restitution to two fraud victims. Reacting to Hushpuppi's travail, Maduagwu stated he foresees him embracing Christ and becoming a pastor. Maduagwu said: "I See Hushpuppi Becoming A Pastor In Future And Preaching Salvation. No going back on the planned Naira redesign President Buhari President Muhammadu Buhari says the CBN has given Nigerians enough time to deposit the present naira notes at various banks in exchange for the newly redesigned ones. The President said this on Wednesday after a meeting with King Charles the third at Buckingham Palace, UK. President Buhari also said there is no going back on the planned redesign of the 200 Naira, 500 Naira, and 1,000 Naira bank notes. He said the policy will hinder politicians from mobilizing resources and thugs to intimidate voters in the coming elections.
