  F ather Alia Wins Benue Apc Governorship Re-run Primary Election Rev. Fr Hyacinth Iormem Alia has won the Governorship primary election rerun conducted by the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 12 Local Government Areas and 3 council wards in Buruku Local Government in Benue State. Announcing the results at the APC State Secretariat in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, Chairman of the rerun committee, Joel Omajali, said a total number of 366,546 voters were registered, 292,930 accredited, and a total of 270,353 votes were validly cast while Fr Alia polled 195,314 votes to come out victorious. Other governorship aspirants in the race include; Terhemba Shija, Terlumun Ikya, Bernard Yisa, Mathias Byuan, Sam Ode, Godwin Ityoachimin, and Barnabas Gemade, Michael Aondoakaa, Terwase Orbunde, and Steven lawani.   E FCC Trains Officers on Crypto Currency, Forensic Auditing In a bid to tackle some emerging crimes and build stronger capacities for future challenges, the EFCC held a 4-Day training on Crypto-Currency, Forensic Auditing and Investigation for its operatives. The training, which commenced on Monday, June 6, 2022 and ended on Friday, June 10, 2022, was held at the EFCC Academy, Karu, Abuja and drew participants from different cadres of operatives of the Commission. Acting Deputy Commandant, Administration, EFCC Academy, Assistant Commander of EFCC, ACE Joseph Ogwiji, explained that: "Crypto currency is an emerging trend, so we looked at the investigation aspect of it in order to expand the horizon of the officers.”

A Nigerian woman simply identified as   Chinwe   told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos State on Thursday, June 9 that her husband,   Irinsanmi Ayeniberu , refers to her as a secondhand material. NAN reports that the husband, a transporter in the state, had approached the court to grant him a divorce on grounds of incompatibility with his wife of four years, Chinwe. Ayeniberu, in his petition, claimed that Chinwe, whom he married after his first wife’s death, was quarrelsome, disrespectful, and intolerant. “My son’s wife, who was living with me, had to move out because of the way my wife quarreled with her. My two sons also moved out. “She doesn’t find it hard to hurl insults at them and fight them,” he said. Chinwe, on her part, denied the allegations, claiming that her husband married her dubiously. One of the things I noticed that disturbs me to date is that 99% of married women wrote their children, parents and siblings as NEXT OF KIN  But 100% of married men wrote their waives as NEXT OF KIN Why does this happen?
